SENIOR KINDERGARTEN
We offer a full 10-month school year (September to June) Alberta Education approved, funded program for children who will turn five on or before December 31st of their kindergarten year.
JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN
Typical Kindergarten children must turn 5 by December 31st in the year they attend. For Junior Kindergarten, children must turn 5 between January 1st and April 30th in the year they attend to be eligible, and they will have to pay tuition for the year as Alberta Education funding does not cover Junior Kindergarten (please contact our Program Coordinator for more information regarding tuition fees for Junior Kindergarten). Both Jr. and Sr. Kindergarteners will attend class together with the JK’s having age appropriate learner expectations and additional support as needed. We have limited JK spaces, however, feel free to spread the word if you know of anyone who has a kiddo that is ready for a bit more of a challenge but not yet old enough to attend Kindergarten.

Our application period for the 2025/26 school year is officially open! We will be hosting two open house dates (December 3rd 2024 from 12pm-1:30pm, and January 23rd 2025 from 6pm-8pm). Feel free to stop by, see the classroom, and get your questions answered!
To apply, please complete the Application Form and ensure to include:
- A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate
- Supporting assessments (if applicable)
- $50 non-refundable application fee (invoiced after application form is received)
You will be contacted regarding next steps when the application, supporting documents, and $50 application fee have been received.
Once an application is accepted and your child is officially registered at GCK, we will request a $225 registration/project fee that will assist with the cost of materials, supplies, field trips, etc.
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and registration confirmations will continue to be made until all spaces have filled, then a waitlist will be maintained. Thank you for your understanding!
We have limited space available for the 2024/25 school year
